A Review of X‐Ray Imaging at the BAM <i>line</i> (BESSY II)

The hard X-ray beamline BAMline at BESSY II (Berlin, Germany) has now been in service for 20 years. Several improvements have implemented this time, and review provides an overview of the imaging methods available BAMline. Besides classic full-field synchrotron computed tomography (SXCT), also absorption edge CT, refraction radiography (SXRR), (SXRCT) are used imaging. Moreover, virtually any those techniques currently coupled situ or operando with ancillary equipment such as load rigs, furnaces, potentiostats. Each is explained both current potential usage described corresponding examples. use manifold, examples cover organic materials, composite energy-related biological samples, materials related to additive manufacturing. article includes published well some unpublished applications.
